Minister of Energy inaugurates Total's new Head office

The Minister of Natural Resources, Energy, and Mining Honourable Bintony Kutsaira MP officially inaugurated Total Malawi's new Head office building  on 30th October 2019 at an event held in Blantyre.

Speaking at the inauguration, the Minister congratulated Total Malawi for achieving another milestone and observed that such investments in the country by multinational companies were commendable.

"The construction of this multimillion kwacha building assures the government that Total Malawi Limited will continue operating its business in this country," he said.

The inauguration comes exactly one year since the official opening of Total's first fully solarized service station at Area 6, Lilongwe. The event was also attended by representatives of the  Malawi Energy Regulatory Authority, Blantyre City Council, and other captains of industry, partners and stakeholders.
